The Duffster for DKNY---HOT!!

Awesome Craigslist Ad-

Craigslist is becoming notorious for advertisements from people searching for slave labor. These people want you to show up and do your absolute best for NO PAY. I really hope that no one is answering these ads. Now in return they are offering "fantastic exposure" despite the actual poster having no clout or cred.

Occasionally someone will take the time to answer ridiculous advertisments publicly with one of their own. Here is one of the best so far.

10 episode web tv series is looking for a co-producer/line producer to help put the show together in terms of

*finding free locations from friends and family who are open to shooting with a skeleton crew
*scheduling auditions
*coordinating cast and crew (most of them are working for free/deferred)
*Scheduling shoots
*doing deal memos with crew and actors
*Finding crew who has not committed yet to work on deferred
*coordinating craft service and meals
*involved with coordinating with post production and editors, etc

There is no pay, however we will be syndicating and distributing content all over the web and in different languages so you will get a percentage of online ad sales and revenues so if you have a full time job or employment and want to get involved with very cool web series that is HBO-ish in nature and have some time outside your paid work to get involved on certain days, nights, and weekdays, please apply

Technically I can do this all myself but I am the creator and writer of the show, directing a few episodes, and just really looking for help

Please also be extremely friendly, down to earth, easy to work with, and want to have fun.

Must be within chicago area

And:

TV pilot and pending web series seeks gaffer with own equipment, a good attidude, no ego, and a high level of commitment.

there is no pay but you will receive a written deferral for possible revenues from the show's onlline advertisers and sponsors. producer of show is expert digital marketer as well as filmmaker

all other crew pretty much lined up on these terms as well

please email your availability (outside of your other paid jobs) willingness to work 1-2 days or more per week, equipment lists, etc

while everyone is waiting for the next big feature, the realities are that film studios are no longer financing films but distributing them, tv networks are focused on reality content, indie film investors are a thing of the past, so the difference between waiting for something to happen vs being entreprenuerial is no longer an option

Really??!?!?!

I loved this cover of the January British Elle of Courtney Love

Then I saw the copy-cat cover of the March Interview Magazine with Mary-Kate Olsen and was just floored. How lame? Isn't being creative thier JOB?
